Sunday Worship Celebration

Our Sunday morning gathering emphasizes praising God in song and the teaching of God's Word.  Adults bring their children into the sanctuary for the music, then they are taken to their classes just before the sermon.  We have separate classes for Toddler thru Jr. Hi.  We generally celebrate Communion together in this service on the 1st Sunday of the month.


We are currently studying through the New Testament book of Acts with Pastor Mick.

"MiniChurch" is a time for people to gather informally, usually in a home, to discuss practical application of Sunday's message, share with and minister to one another, and often share snacks (or sometimes a meal) together.  Click here for current location / time.

Wednesday Ladies' Bible Study

This study pretty much follows the annual school schedule, meeting from mid-August to early June.  Ladies meet in the Koinonia Lounge at the church to study and share and pray together.

Wednesday "C-Life Family Night"

"C-Life" (i.e., Calvary Life) is an experience for the whole church family.  We begin with dinner together at 5:45 PM.  It's served on a donation basis (recommended $3 per person).  We then break to the following groups at 6:20 PM:

Youth Group - (Jr. Hi & Hi School) with Pastor Jason

Kid's Time - (4 yrs - 6th grade) Our children are currently doing a unit on "Kid's Theatre" with Tobi Johnson.  Toddler room is also available for supervised play for kids under 4 yrs.  An unstaffed Nursery is available for parents to take their infants thru non-walkers.  Both the Toddler & Nursery have live TV feed of the adult Bible Study in the Sanctuary.

Adult Study - in the Sanctuary.  We have a 20 minute MiniStudy, followed by about 30 minutes in smaller groups for practical sharing and prayer.

Thursday "Deeper Diggings" Study" with Pastor Mick

This study is an in-depth study of the Bible and/or Doctrines of the Scripture with Pastor Mick.  It's a Bible Institute level study and all who desire to study more in-depth are invited.  It is held in the Manna Cabana (Main Street entrance).  It pretty much follows the annual school schedule of mid-August through June.  No childcare provided.


We are currently studying through "First John".

Thursday Ladies' Bible Study

Thursday night study is the same as the Ladies' Wednesday morning study.  This study is scheduled to help accommodate area ladies who work during the day or just can't make Wednesday AM.  It follows pretty much the same schedule as Wednesday AM.

Thursday Blythe-Area Recovery Ministry

Pastor Jason leads this faith-based recovery meeting at the Shiloe Agape Church, 141 Willow St., Blythe (behind Carl's Jr).  It is offered in cooperation with Shiloe Agape and is open to any and all men and women seeking support in recovery.  The structure is based on the "Celebrate Recovery" model of ministry.  For a full description of our Recovery ministry, click here.

Friday Men's "Equippers" Breakfast Study

Several of our men meet for breakfast (dutch-treat) every Friday morning at 7 AM at "Steaks & Cakes" restaurant (1871 E. Hobsonway, Blythe) to share fellowship and study over a meal.  They meet in the back room of the restaurant.
